Privacy Policy
Travel Legend does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no tracking, and no remote servers. Everything you log in the app stays on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud account β completely under your control.
Data We Collect
Travel Legend collects only the data you explicitly enter into the app:
- Country visits β country code, and optionally the year, month, and day of visit, plus free-text notes
- Countries added to your wishlist
- Your home country setting
- Achievements unlocked based on your visit history
No name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier is ever requested or stored. There is no account registration.
How Data Is Stored
All data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData, Apple's on-device persistence framework. The app does not operate any backend servers or databases. Your data never leaves your device unless you have iCloud enabled (see below).
You can delete all app data at any time from within the app via Settings › Reset All Data. Deleting the app from your device also removes all locally stored data.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Travel Legend uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your travel data between your own Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac). This sync happens through your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
LukΓ‘Ε‘ VranΓ½ (the developer) has no access to data stored in your iCloud. You can disable iCloud sync at any time via the iOS Settings app under your Apple ID › iCloud › Apps Using iCloud.
In-App Purchases
Travel Legend offers optional in-app purchases (Premium subscription and Lifetime access) processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. The developer does not receive, process, or store any payment information. All billing and transaction data is handled by Apple and subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Third-Party SDKs & Tracking
Travel Legend contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. There is no Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar service integrated into the app. The App Tracking Transparency prompt is not shown because no tracking takes place.
The only third-party service the app communicates with is Apple's own CloudKit (iCloud), described above.
Device Permissions
Travel Legend does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photo library, or any other sensitive device capability. The app functions entirely without these permissions.
Children's Privacy
Travel Legend does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of any age from a data privacy perspective. Parental guidance is recommended for in-app purchases.
Changes to This Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the new version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Since no contact information is collected, users are encouraged to check this page periodically for any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
